Only after two years Bobby Bentley is leaving PC with a job undone. He is letting down his recruits and team. After taking the job two years ago, Bentley said this is where me and my family needs to be. He is leaving behind a losing record and a disgruntled team of young men that had their faith in him. To me this is a surprise move and one that will haunt Bentley the rest of his days. Bently leaving as a loser, but most of all letting down the young men that came to play for him. Also one month before signing new players, this is just wrong, SELFISH move in my mind. IMO

Clinton proved again that it's still too tough to tame when your are from Byrnes! Bentley did the folks wrong at PC.

I went and copied it for those who wanted to read it: Well, Well, Well after just two years of D1 football former high school Head coach Bobby Bentley quits his head coaching job at Presbyterian College in Clinton S.C. He let his own players and college down. After two years and a combine losing record, Bentley was made a job back at Dist 5 High School as county wide AD. He will also become the OC of his old high school team the Byrnes Rebels in Duncan, S.C. I wonder how the head coach (Miller) feels about that decision? Once again, Clinton was untamed by a Byrnes Rebel. The town Clinton, S.C. again proved too tough even for the old head coach from Byrnes High who had four state titles under his belt. Bentley let his recruits, coaches and college down by doing this just 29 days before signing day. Bentley said when he took the College job, "this is what I was living and coaching for." Well I guess he just will fade away, since he could not cut it at the college level. Bye, Bye Bentley Good Bye! Bentley failed as a College coach and he also failed the players, team and staff!
